Breakfast has vegetables! Unlike cold salad, the vegetables that includes mushrooms, pepper and zucchini serve as a hot dish makes the breakfast more healthy and yummy. The staff in reception is attentive, informative, professional in handling situations, smiling, friendly and yet efficient. Secret lagoon is in walking distance. The hotel is quite central for visiting most main spots. It's nicely decorated. The room is spacious. The bathroom is warm and well-equipped. One of the tea flavour in the room is ginger! It's rare in most hotels but this really makes me feel special. In such a cold weather I can make a hot ginger tea after a long drive in such snowy weather. I also heard that there was northern light last night!

For us the location with what we wanted to do & see in our couple of days staying there was perfect & being able to enjoy a lovely meal in the restaurant at the end of the day was perfect albeit on the expensive side but given the Australian exchange rate atm it wasn’t a total surprise. Also I’d like to mention the lovely young lady with long blonde hair (didn’t get her name) who worked in the restaurant each night but she was a credit to the place she made our evenings so nice & couldn’t do enough for us so Thankyou to her.

This was easily the most pleasant accommodation of our entire trip. The room, while not massive, felt airy and spacious thanks to the large window offering a view on the inner courtyard. Having direct access to the courtyard and hot tubs through the shower was fantastic and allowed us to unwind after a day of walking. We also dined at the restaurant and I was very pleased with my meal. All in all, an excellent stay and good value for money when compared to other hotels we stayed at. Highly recommended.

Check-in was quite smooth, and parking plentiful. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. The main attraction in the area is Secret Lagoon, which is a short (<5 minutes) drive away. You can probably also just walk it, but at least for the time we were in Fludir (we went to Secret Lagoon on a different day from the time we stayed here), it was super windy. Thankfully, the central courtyard was mostly shielded from the wind, so if you want to be outside, there is some respite there.

Dominic

The room was of a nice size, spacious enough we could bring in a mattress from the other rooms we could fit 2 ad and 2 ch in, warm and powerful shower just what was needed after a long day exploring. Welcoming staff and everything being one floot was brilliant no lugging up stairs, peaceful bar and felt very relaxing. We ate the food was good overall, and the use of outdoor hot tubs was very good. Stick with burgers, lamb shank etc and lager and you will be fine.
